Mystery Number QR Codes
While working with numbers in math, students created their own QR codes to conceal a mystery number for this project. Students identified if their "mystery number" was even or odd and what it would look like in word form, expanded form, and in base 10 blocks. To help them check the answers on this interactive bulletin board, students made a QR code and added it to the project. Students have been working with many types of QR codes during independent center time, so they really enjoyed creating their own.

What a great way to get kids to make their own QR code! I can't think of a better way to engage students and get them excited about learning different ways to make a number. Plus they learned not only about their own number, but lots of other numbers from their classmates' projects. An AWESOME integration of technology and math!
